Janelle Harrop is an expert seamstress, with over fifteen years experience in large theatre and dance costume design, ready-wear alterations, custom bespoke couture, home furnishings and design, and bridal styling. She has blended her artistic skills with a deep sense of community service.
JannyBird Sewing Co. was started in 2011; with determination and passion for her craft, Janelle began altering ready-wear clothing for clients during her early college career. She holds an A.S. degree in Elementary Education and General Studies, and an A.A. degree in Fine and Performance Art from Piedmont VA Community College.
Opening a boutique in a historic building of Lovingston, VA in 2023 has been a dream come true for Janelle.
